At RBS, we try to be as open-minded as possible. After all, it's the 21st century!
However, we can't help but feel sad when we come across stories such as this one. With all the efforts that amazing African women are making at home and internationally, stories like this one
are rather unfortunate and cheapen the image of young African women.
Nigerian music star Davido was in Kenya for a musical performance at the 2013 Boombaataa Festival which was billed as the "biggest concert of the year" and also featured Nigerian music star Ice Prince. Prior to his arrival, a popular vixen/model named Staicey Brianar Brown aka Pendo had made it clear that she intended to "meet" Davido upon his arrival to Kenya.
According to media reports from Standard
Media Kenya, Davido told media upon his arrival in Kenya, "Who the hell is Pendo…I don't give a damn who she is. I am not interested,". The publication goes on to say that "(Pendo) the socialite was among the groupies who crashed into the press conference."
Since the concert, the vixen/model/socialite has given various interviews claiming that she had an intimate encounter with Davido.
Below is an interview that Pendo gave to the Ghafla.com;
So what is all this wahala about Davido
blocking you off of his facebook?
Pendo : If people had done even a little
research, they would Davido does not even have a Facebook account. I NEVER said I was in touch with him through Facebook. I got in touch with him through a good friend of his and that's where everything started. He did the intro.
So, seriously, did you sleep with Davido?
Pendo : Errrrrrrrrrrm (laughs cheekily)
(There is IRREFUTABLE proof that Pendo did spend the night with Nigerian superstar, if you want to see it plead with her on twitter @LoveStaicey to release it.) In the meantime, have this picture of Davido, topless, in his hotel room from his personal instagram. Maybe Pendo took
it)
So why did you do this? Do you do this for
money?
Pendo : (Laughs) No, I didn't get money from him. I didn't WANT money from him. I did it simply cuz I find him hot and he is pretty legit in the music industry in Africa. Yeah, I am attracted by his talent, his fame, his power, but honestly, who isn't? And people are talking so much because a lot of women wanted to be in my shoes, but were not. I'm not afraid to go after what I want. That's just me. And I am unapologetic for it. I am content that I got what I wanted -which was to know him- and I guess it just naturally progressed from there…
So was this a one time thing then?
Pendo : No, I would do it again. Gladly. I don't regret it at all.
Of course you know now I am gonna ask
about the "D". Free reign, choose your own words to describe it.
Pendo : He was perfect. Nooooooooo, more than that.
DESCRIPTION.
Pendo : (Laughing) Ok, ok. Errrrrrrrrrrm, he is much better than your "average Kenyan". He is big. Both length and width. (Giggles) And best part is he REALLY knows what he is working with.
Haha, so you loved ALL OF HIM. (SN: Hehe, see what I did there?)
Pendo : (Giggles) Ha, you won't let this go will you. Haha, no seriously though, he has CRAZY moves, he kept it fresh for a couple hours. I am impressed. Definitely the best…(hesitates) Ok maybe not the best I ever had, but he is up there.
So was this a one night stand or will you be seeing him again?
Pendo : Davido is not only a good lover but a gentleman. Not only did he not publicise the affair, but he left me with some personal mementos to remember him. I don't think a one night stand does that. Plus there is still communication going on. I'm not saying we are dating, but we are definitely still talking. He did
not "hit it and quit it"
In another interview, she explained how she navigated her way to Davido's hotel room.
"..When it was time to leave he held my hand and we left, on reaching the car the organiser said it wouldn't be safe because of the media so David paid for my cab that followed them directly to the hotel located in Hurlingham, when I got there he sent his deejay (Olu) to give me his key card to his room as he talked to
someone…he escorted me to the room and the rest is self explanatory!! am not like those girls who take pix in bed and all…but I got proof,as he left me some when he left for his flight early morning!"
This is so sad!
Young women, we can do better. 5 minutes of fame and a little bit of cash isn't worth it.

Actor Solomon Akiyesi Again! Now Wants To Marry 4th Wife?
Nollywood actor Solomon Akiyesi is in the news for the wrong reason again. What is really going on, guy?
While the dust raised by his pregnant wife at a Lagos church few months ago - when he tried to get married to a beautiful girl, after lying to his wife he was going to a movie location - is yet to settle down, sources says he is now rolling with another big woman in Abuja.
From what RSB gathered:
Solomon Akiyesi, who had married two different ladies before a marriage drama in Lagos with his 'authentic' wife, is not ready to reconcile with his wife. In fact, he said a lot back then about his wife's "negative attitude" which he claimed
drove him out.
But how come he can't get to stay with one woman, or even marry two and live with them peacefully if that is what he want? Could it be that Solomon needs spiritual deliverance?

'I must be with a man for 5years before I marry him' - Eniola Badmus
When asked about her marriage plans in an interview with Encomium mag, actress Eniola Badmus said she must date a guy for at least five years before she will consider marrying him.
Eniola said:
"What is the point if I marry today and
tomorrow it's over? What's the essence? I am living my life. I will have a baby when
necessary. Marriage is good but what's the essence of me getting married today and tomorrow I'm not in it? For any man I am going to marry or call my husband we should be together for five years before we walk down the aisle. We may have children but at least after five years I will know that you're ready for me. Not getting married today, and tomorrow he's out! I've seen it happen to my friends, I don't want to go through that
trauma."
Erm, that you date a guy for five years doesn't guarantee that the marriage will last...or does it?

SAGA: WandeCoal and Mavin Records? Signed? Never Signed? Left?
Social media in Nigeria has been buzzing
today as rumors of Wande Coal leaving
Mavin Records has been all over the place.
Where did all this rumors come from?
Well today's strongest indication is that he released his latest single, Kilaju, under his own imprint Black Diamond Ent and no
mention of Mavin records anywhere. Now
this might not be such a huge deal, but
there were already rumors late last year
suggesting Wande Coal had left Mavin
Records. So much so that there was an
official press statement released on
Mavin Records website stating clearly that 'Wande is going nowhere.'
So today we have this new single and loads of rumors floating around including some indicating that he was actually never signed to Mavin Records, and therefore not legally tied to the label. It wont be the first time that has happened as the Eva & Trybe Records saga had a similar issue.
As of yet, there hasn't been any statement from the Mavin Records camp or from Wande Coal's camp clearly stating what the deal is, but if we can safely assume that something will be said officially pretty soon.
Till then, we await, and enjoy the new track by Wande Coal, Kilaju.

In an interview with Encomium magazine,

"They wrote that I am a tout, from what

been speaking, do I speak like someone
who did not go to school? I have decided to follow the advice of those who said I should not join issues with her and her

"If my husband cheats, I will castrate him'- Uche Jombo says in new interview
In this interview with Sam Olatunji, Uche
Jombo speaks on cheating and new movie
'Unconditional'.
What is it with the celebrity kids on
your new movie, 'Unconditional'?
We didn't set out to use celebrity kids. I
told everyone including you the age range
I want and people suggested the kids.
Aghahowa's daughter has wanted to act
since age 5, we auditioned Chigozie, and
she did well and got a coach to coach
them. 2face's daughter is just a drama
queen. And this movie, Unconditional is
not all about them, Dakore, Ruth Kadiri
and I acted in it. It's the kind of move that will touch the heart.
If your husband were to be a serial
philanderer like Desmond's character
in the movie, Lies Men Tell, what will
you do?
I will castrate him, he knows and believes
that. To me, there is no excuse to cheat, its either you are with someone or not, and if you are tired of the person, please accord the person decency of respect by saying it's over. Don't go making someone look stupid. The problem with me is there is no in- between.
Do you believe what you are saying or are
you saying it for the purpose of this
interview?
I am saying,Uche Jombo-Rodrigues doesn't have in-between. That is the reason it takes me long time to make a decision or take a stand on something, but when I do, that is it. There is no excuse not to honour an agreement you have
made, this doesn't have anything to do with this interview. It is the principle that guides me. It is not just about marriage, it's how I conduct my relationships, its either it is this or that, if that is my mind-set in a relationship, you should
know that for marriage it'll be 150%. There is no room for cheating.
So you believe your husband will or should not cheat on you?
I don't have control over what someone will do, I'm not God. I'm talking about me, how I conduct things. It's not an option that it will happen, I will not tolerate cheating.
Are you saying you will not forgive the man who cheats on you and is manly enough to say I'm sorry?
If you are in that situation Sam, oh God! You are going to slave for me for life. And do you know any man that will want to slave for a woman for life, answer?
Is it true you are older than your husband
and the man you dated before him?
I have never dated or married someone I was older than in my life. If you have the illusion of someone's age, that is your business, and I am even too mature for my age. That is the problem, because men of my age are 'small boys' around me, I can't date them. I am someone who has to become a mother to some of my siblings at the age of 14. Because you are an under-achiever does not mean I should play down on my achievement. If age is the yardstick for you to succeed, you should not judge people with it, I don't have an apology. If I'm learning from people who are older than me that is because I don't hang out with my age
mates; I don't think there is anything else you want to teach me, and if you want to judge me by the people I hang out with or by when I started my hustle, where the hell were you at that time? What really matters to me is that people who know me during my not-too-proud days are so proud that, this is me now. I have come far, it's something I'm grateful for, and I
couldn't have even written it better if it were a story.

ALBUM REVIEW: Jesse Jagz(@JesseJagzNation) – Jagz Nation, Vol.1. Thy Nation Come
Features – Lindsey, Brymo, Wizkid & 9ice
Producers – Jesse Jagz, Kid Konnect,
Samklef, Shady, Phaze Hop & Guilty Beatz
Running Time – 01:20:44
Record Label – Jagz Nation (2013)
Ever since Mr. Jargo announced his
migration from 'Chocolate City' to 'Jagz
Nation' guarded by two lions; we have
been anticipating the album he promised
like it was the pathway to salvation and the producer did not disappoint us thankfully… running naked is now understandable as Jesse Jagz has unleashed his musical brilliance packaged in a sophomore album titled 'Jagz Nation, Vol.1. Thy Nation Come' on an unsuspecting audience.
Housing 18 tracks (including an intro and
skit) and boasting guests like Wizkid,
Lindsey, Brymo and 9ice; Jesse Jagz has
magnificently grown and evolved and shows this as he takes the music into a deeper realm compared to his debut offering 'Jag of All Tradez'. Although it might be too soon to tag the LP using the word 'classic', we can confidently use it's synonym 'tour de force' and crown Jesse Jagz the hottest mainstream MC in Nigeria at the moment. 'Thy Nation Come' in one word? Revolutionary!
Digest the track-to-track review and
familiarize yourself with the album's hottest points:
1. Intro: The 1:36 seconds intro sounds. strange, heavy, raga-ish, solid, and strong and sets the mood for a mind-blowing musical adventure.
2. Burning Bush (In Memory of Hadiza Aboki): Opening the album properly with an emotive yet inspiring piano chord before transcending into the rich instrumentation, 'Burning Bush' is dedicated to Hadiza Aboki. The former afro-pop act bares his vulnerability as he sings lyrics like; 'Early in the morning, when she feeling lonely, she say Jaga pray for me, Keep my enemies away from me…', the depth of this number can
hardly be over- exaggerated.
3. Bed of Roses: A hustler's prayer? A clean hip-hop cut! Affirming the fact that his rapping skills are over-looked, Jesse continues engineering this musical garden (Jagz Nation, Vol.1. Thy Nation Come) with 'Bed of Roses'.
4. Desire: Already proving that he
is a musical chameleon, Jagz forges deeper into the raga genre with the
inspiring and oriental influenced
'Desire'. Perfectly fitting into the
musical identity of the LP; Jesse wails,
'Jah protect me when the evil man
come and me don't have a gun'…and after the superb guitar riff at the middle of the track he continues with 'everyman will run away, if day never came and no sun again and we only got the moon to stay'. 'Desire' might be mistakenly for a gospel number by virtue of the momentous message.
5. Where You At?: Jesse Jagz wears his 'Jag of all Tradez' skin while trying to retain his lyrical depth on the banging yet tiring fifth track.
Targeted at the clubs, dance-floors
and behind-closed-doors, 'Where You
At?' might not pack the punch but it
is a pretty decent offering.
6. Mamacita: Just like its predecessor Jesse confesses his libidinous wants on the magical fusion of rap, raga and pop christened 'Mamacita'. Brilliantly divided into two; the erotic part and the section
where Jesse excretes hot un-sexual rap bars, the complex track is one of the Nation's focal points.
7. Sex & Scotch: Unlike 'Mamacita' and 'Where You At?' Jesse holds nothing back 'Sex & Scotch'. The track title or 'Bestial & Boozed- up' (like we like to call it) says it all; 'S&S' may not be about chains and whips however its carnal content maybe be censored as being not suitable for individuals under 21 in some states.
8. God on the Mic: Ibn Abaga has his Kanye West moment with 'God on the Mic'. Digest these lines – 'Hurled from the sky like a discus, A god has fallen from Olympus, Dethroned from high, Thrown from the sky…formed from the remnants of Optimus Prime, In the darkness words formed in his mind-blind, Double edged sword state of rhyme, so a nigga got resourceful with his time…', Jagz serves a jaw- dropping song worthy of the ovation.
9. International: Jesse brags about his flow on 'International'.
10. Steady Going: Rapping obviously one of his strengths, Jesse flexes this muscle again on 'Steady Going'. Stellar hip-hop production solely sold this number, then adding the brilliance of Jesse.
11. Jargo (Feat. 9ice): Jesse enlists the iconic 9ice to deliver one of his best hooks in recent times on 'Jargo'.
Drawing inspiration from Chinese music mostly Taoist music and Yayue and Yoruba indigenous music, the emperor of Jagz Nation assisted by 9ice tell(s) an epic tale. Jargo is a testimony that 9ice still has the X- factor and can make a massive comeback if the cards are played
right.
12. Pedal to the Floor: Jesse soars as usual on another deep rap number.
13. Sativa Skit: A slight hilarious skit where Jesse is being interrogated by officers over 'a little green'.
14. Sativa (feat. Lindsey): Arguably celebrating the world's most popular herb is 'Sativa'. Project fame finalist and seasoned vocalist Lindsey joins the Rastafarian movement by employing her soothing vocals and the leader Jagz rants on moving instrumentation.
15. After Party (feat. Brymo): Brymo brings his signature voice to join his former label mate in the new nation and the result is 'After Party'. We cannot say we are screaming about the breezy collaboration still the track has some high points; for instance Jesse still keeps the lyrical content on check – "Locked up niggas found the key" that's a line in
reference to their Chocolate City departure, then Brymo's captivating chorus. We love this nation!
16. Redemption: The project's haunting lead single is intoxicating as lead singles get. Despite announcing the organic sound the album possess, the game-changing 'Redemption' reassured followers of Jesse Jagz that his sophomore album would be worth the wait.
17. Bad Girl (feat. Wizkid): We are
gladdened that Star Boy Wizkid finally
decided to challenge himself lyrically
and soulfully when called upon by
Jesse Jagz. 'Bad Girl' is a bad banger,
with a steamy hook credited to Wiz
and Jesse leading the way we did not
expect any less.
18. Selassie: Saved the last for best?
Selassie closes the musical journey in
grand style. Kudos to the brains behind the arrangement of 'Selassie', the production and especially the refined background vocalist who drove the song home towards the final seconds of the album; before it changes to the hidden 'outro' which is very similar to the intro. We would kill to see this number served live.
RATING: 8/10

PHOTO: Singer, Miley Cyrus goes naked For Charity
Miley Cyrus took to Twitter Thursday night to reveal her latest collaboration, with Marc Jacobs' Protect The Skin You're In campaign, which raises money for the New York University Skin Cancer Institute.
However, it's the photo she tweeted along with it that's gotten most of the attention. She's been flashing some skin lately, but the T-shirt features a very unclad Cyrus covering her lady parts.
Starting today, the tees are available at nine Marc Jacobs boutiques, and T-shirts bearing other famous faces can be found for $35 at Marc Jacobs' website.

“I’m A Great Cook, A Lover, A Great Kisser!”–Bunmi Nelson, Actress
Her name is Bunmi Jedidiah Nelson, a
Nollywood actress currently making waves in the industry. After successfully hosting a TV programme, Youths 2 Youths, Nelson moved into Nollywood in 2000 and has continued to dazzle movie lovers with her unique acting skills.
Though popularly known by her fans as 'Oko Oloko' or 'Nike Atawewe', sobriquets she got from roles she played in both movies, Nelson, who prefers the nickname, Sexychoco, reveals that she was destined to be an actress. "Right
from my childhood days, I have always had flair for acting," she says.
When she got the opportunity to act in her very first movie entitled Silver Lining, the experience on location further increased her passion for her chosen career. Nelson is a very creative producer that is also sought after in the Yoruba
genre of the movie industry. In this interview, she talks about her other creative endeavours, career and why she loves kissing.
You started with 'Silver Lining,' an English movie, but you now feature more in Yoruba movies, why?
I wouldn't say I feature more in Yoruba movies more because I act in both. Even, I still get calls from my producers in Asaba. I will say I do both very well and professionally, hence, the regular calls from producers.
Tell us about your first movie and location experience.
I got loads of fun from featuring in my first movie. Initially I didn't envisage that my senior colleagues on the set would easily accept me. I was pleasantly surprised that they were even more friendly and supportive on set. Some of the professionals were Gloria Young, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Robert Peters, Sound Sultan and Ricardo Agbo, among others. I was really elated to be on the same set with them and I told myself to brace up and go for it! I have not looked back ever since.
How many movies have you done so far?
Please, mention some of them.
I have done many movies. I have even lost count. I have featured in movies like When the Going Gets Tough, Undesirable, Standing Order, Enemies in Love, Images in the Mirror, A Cry for Husband, Dating Game, Royal Engagement, 100 days in the jungle, among others. For the Yoruba movies I have done Abeere Oloore, Ile-
Alayo, Ojukoju, Ajenipa,Street girls, Orin-Dola, Emi-Keji, Oju-Oro, Ife Ni, Serekode, Oko-Owo, Oko- Oloko, Onisiata, Borokinni, Orule, Tashere, Komfo, among others. I have also produced two
Yoruba movies – Oko Oloko and Onisiata.
Which was the most challenging and why?
I would say Oko Oloko was the most challenging and it was well-accepted. Some people hated me after the movie came out because of the very challenging role I played as a husband snatcher, doing fetish things and displaying some wicked
traits and being domineering.
Are you saying that people reacted
negatively to you because of the movie?
Oh yes. I often get embarrassed when I'm in public places, events or parties. From nowhere someone will jump on me and shout, 'Oko Oloko' or 'Nike Atawewe.' Those were characters I played in two movies. While some others will commend me for the role and appreciate how I acted it and made it very real and believable.
Some people also think I'm like that in real life because I acted the role professionally.
Now, who are you off-screen?
I'm a shy person, very accommodating, a great cook, a lover and great kisser!
What are you doing presently?
I'm shooting my TV programme entitled, Bebe Nlo with Bunmi Nelson
What exactly is the programme about?
It's a talk show on our crossover artistes in Nollywood. It also promotes culture and tourism. We would be talking about our rich cultural heritage, values, traditions and religion in Nigeria.
Aside producing movies and acting, what
else do you do?
I am a fashion designer and I own House of Euphoria. I make beads, sketch and design clothes.
How do you combine all of these creative
endeavours?
It's no big deal to me. It's my talent. They are all under one umbrella, because I also design for people in the industry. When I am not shooting, I sit to do beadwork and design clothes. I'm a brain on two legs.
Now let's talk about your private life – are you married, hooked or single and
searching?
I'm still single. I will walk down the aisle when God says its time!
Is it that you are not in any relationship?
I will answer you this way: I am waiting for my knight in shinning armour to come and whisk me away exactly when God says it is time.
What kind of man would you love to marry?
My kind of man should be caring, loving,
accommodating, gentle with great sense of humour, neat, loves God and a good kisser.
This kiss thing again, why do you love
kissing?
Why do people love food, football, dancing, travelling? I love kissing the same way several people love doing stuffs too. It is inexplicable I guess.
How often do you kiss in a week?
Omo see jamb question o. I don't!
What about the men you kiss in movies?
Well, I have in few movies. In any case, they are fake kisses.
I hear you. I also noticed a tattoo on your
cleavage. How many tattoos do you have on your body?
I have tattoos and they symbolise love because I'm a romantic person.
Why do you love tattoos?
I love the art of making tattoos.
What part of your body do you cherish the
most?
Every part of my body, especially my eyes, lips and b**bs.
What role can't you play in a movie?
I can't play unclad roles except for a body-double.
How romantic are you?
I am extremely romantic. It's inexplicable. It is a good and sweet feeling, that's all.
What turns you on and off?
I get turned off by liars, fake people and
pretenders.
What turns you on?
I get turned on by just knowing how much lies in the vault of the World Bank.
How do you ward off men who want to date you and you don't want them?
I can't bite more than I can chew. I simply make them my friends or turn them down politely.
Tell me one nasty experience that you are
unlikely to forget soon.
It was a funny one. It was when I didn't insert my tampon properly and it fell off right there on the road. I felt the ground would just open and swallow me up. I couldn't stand the shame. Please, don't ask me how it fell.
Tell us about your family and academic
background?
I'm the sixth child of my parents' nine children. I grew up in Ajao Estate, Lagos. I had my primary and secondary education there before proceeding to Kwara State Polytechnic and later to Lagos State University to study Theatre Arts. I also studied at the Nigerian French Language
Village, Badagry where I learnt to speak French. My parents and siblings live abroad.
Have you acted in any French movie?
No, but I will soon shoot a French love story. In addition, I still intend to further my education and study filming at the popular New York Film Academy.
Which state are you from and do you have
any preference marrying from your tribe
alone?
I'm from Kogi State. I don't have any preference in marriage. God created all of us.

SHOCKING: Music video director Aswad Ayinde jailed 90yrs for fathering 6 kids with his own daughters
Music video director Aswad Ayinde, 55, who won an MTV award for directing The Fugees' 'Killing Me Softly' in 1996, has been sentenced to 90 years in prison for repeatedly raping his six daughters and fathering six children with them.
Aswad Ayinde is accused of raping his
daughters to create a "pure" bloodline,
fathered six kids with them from the mid-1980s to 2002 - and delivered the babies himself, the court heard during his trial last Friday "He said the world was going to end, and it was just going to be him and his offspring and that he was chosen," his ex-wife, Beverly Ayinde testified at a pre-trial hearing.
Prosecutors said Ayinde kept the kids from blabbing about the rape by beating them and isolating them from other children. All his daughters were home schooled.
"I was afraid to ever accuse him of being
demented or being a pedophile," Beverly
Ayinde, who had 9 children with him told
the court. "I knew the word, but I wouldn't
dare use it because it would result in a
beating."
Prosecutors revealed that Mr. Ayinde began having sex with his second daughter from the time she eight-years-old, impregnating her four times. He faces three more trials over the alleged assaults.
