Going Forward. Ese Walter writes again

I'm sure by now you all know who Ese Walter is. She took to her
blog yesterday to write about the aftereffect of her
last post, where she accused pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo
of Common Wealth Of Zion Assembly of sexual
manipulation. Read below...
"The past week has 'killed' me. It has stripped
me of whatever 'self-importance' I nursed in the
corners of my mind. It has broken me and
opened me up to my real self. It has brought me
to a deeper level of self-awareness, one I am
most grateful for.
When I sat with my MacBook to type my last
blog, I never imagined it would generate the kind
of attention it did and continues to. I have one
last thing to say on this issue before I lay it to
rest and move on. (I also hope others can move
on too, we have too much going on in this
Country to continue to peddle one for longer
than necessary.)
A very big thank you to everyone that has felt it
necessary to talk about this issue and spread it
throughout Nigeria and the foreign scene. I read every
email sent to me with awe that people would take the
time out to reach a total stranger like me. Some were
cursing, calling me a witch from the pit of hell sent to
destroy the church as though one individual/church is
bigger than the body of Christ. As though God is mere
man and would cringe in heaven saying, "Ese don did
it this time." Or as if the good Book didn't state clearly
that ALL things work out for good for those that love
God.
Do you love God? If yes, trust that it will ALL turn
around for good.
Some people say, 'I support you, you are brave and
courageous' and I wonder if those terms really define
me. I do not think I am brave or courageous. I do
know, however that after decades of sleepwalking
through life, I am now becoming aware not just
of myself but also of my environment, my world, and
the universe.
Some say, put out the evidence and we will believe
you. Hmmm, the morning I sat to write that post, I
really didn't expect anyone to believe me. Well, apart
from those involved. And my motive was simple, let
one more woman be spared. Let one more minister of
the gospel be mindful and let the church rise up to its
responsibilities as God's legal representatives here in
the earth realm.
A copy of the 'evidence' is with a respected minister of
the gospel should the christian body decide to deal
with this issue now and that becomes needful. I am
not looking to have a 'me against them' case where I
need to prove I'm right and someone is wrong. I am
far from right, but I have used the only means
available to me to free myself of the bondage I put
myself in.
Lastly, to all the media people seeking interviews and
whatever else mailing me, I have nothing more to say
on this issue. I cannot reply every email as reading
them is beginning to seem like a new job.
I remember asking a friend once while reading the
book of Acts, "Why do we no longer operate in the
power the disciples did in Jesus day?" What has
changed? How do we 'unchange' it?
God is not mocked, if we serve Him, let's serve Him.
We cannot continue to grow as a Nation by
oppressing, delaying justice, hating, having the ME ME
ME mentality. As Martin Luther King Jr said, 'no one is
free until we are all free.'
Things have got to change and it begins with us. It
begins with each and every one of us borrowing
courage to stand for what we believe in. Fela Durotoye
once said, 'that thing that annoys you most in society
is a sign that you carry its solution.' (I'm
paraphrasing)
Nothing has called out to me more than people,
especially women, suffering in some way and hiding
the pain. Whatever we cover doesn't go away. It grows
and it finds different outlets to rear its ugly head until
we deal with it.
I am not perfect, I will never be, but I am enough to try
what I feel might work. I don't know what the entire
bible says but I am learning and applying the little I
find out
daily. And I think everyone owes it to himself or herself
to figure it out for
themselves.
At the end of the day, we agree that 'men of God' are
firstly men, right? This means it's needless expecting
them to help you in your growth with God. I fell into
that trap of thinking a 'man of God' is equated to God
and it is not new to find people fall in that hole.
How do you begin to learn to serve a God you have
never seen? It takes another level of faith to do that
but we live in a generation/Country where people
don't want to study for themselves. They don't want to
read the Scriptures. Well, they don't want to read,
period. They want to pursue things instead and have
somebody do the praying and studying for them. If
you fall in that category, you need to repent.
I learnt that when the veil was torn, we all were given
equal access to the Father. No matter how long you
may have been in church, if you don't know what that
means you better ask somebody. And seek a real
relationship with the God you claim to serve.
That is what I am spending most of my time doing
these days. Praying, studying, seeking, knocking. The
peace I have felt despite all the hate mails and
tantrums shows that God is not angry with me and I
did what I needed to do to the best of my
understanding.
My apologies to everyone this has affected in one way
or another.
Firstly, my family: I don't know how you guys aren't
sick of me yet
Secondly, 'the body of Christ,' my intention was never
to cause trouble but to stop a rot I felt might spread
and become worse if nobody spoke up about it.
Lastly, to those who said I shouldn't blog again, I
respect and understand your concerns but the truth is,
writing is not just my gift, it is also my 'curse'. I cannot
'NOT' write but I PROMISE, this is the last I will say on
this issue except the christian body needs to see me.
God is building His church, and the gates of hell shall
not prevail against it. No sin is too big to wreck
anyone's faith. If it does, then it means it's working
out a greater good for you. You will definitely come
out stronger and better in the end. Like my best
friend says "in the end, it will be all right and if it ain't
alright, it's notthe end."
"…forgetting those things which are behind, and
reaching forth unto those things which are
before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the
high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Paul.
Cheers to the weekend people

21 year old woman dedicates her life to sleeping with 100,000 men

21 year old Polish woman, Ania Lisewka, (pictured
above) has vowed to travel to every city across the
world in a bizarre quest to sleep with 100,000 men.
According to reports, Ania, who has a serious
boyfriend, has already embarked on her mission and
has slept with 284 men so far, starting with cities in
her home country, Poland.
Anna told the Austrian Times: 'I want men from
Poland, Europe and all around the world. I love sex,
fun and men. In Poland the subject of sex is still taboo
and anyone who wants to fulfill their sexual fantasies
is considered a deviant, a w**** or mentally ill.'
Ania is so determined to complete her task that she's
set up a Facebook page and a website to keep people
(interested in her exploits) up to date with her sex
marathon.

“Don’t Care About What Anybody Says” The Self-Proclaimed‘Man Of The Year’ Phyno Speaks on the Secret Behind his Mohawk, Success in the Music industry, Wearing Female Clothes & Much More.

To some he's Chibuzor Nelson
Azubuike, but to most, he's the 'Man of
the year', Phyno. Starting up as a
producer in 2003, a decade of passion
and hard work has seen the "Ghost
Mode" rapper/producer move from
'underground hype' to a household
name in Nigeria.
Having produced for the likes of Timaya, Flavour,
Ruggedman, 2Shotz, Bracket, J Martins and Mr. Raw,
Phyno found his way around the industry and decided
to move to Lagos in 2007 so as to increase his impact.
By 2010, the eccentric producer decided to try his
hands on the other side of the booth, starting his own
Rap career, and Indigenous Igbo Rap has never been
so cool ever since. The multiple hits to his credit as a
producer and rapper, Phyno is putting final touches on
his official debut album "No Guts, No Glory" slated to
drop before the end of 2013.
Invited for a sit-down at the Capital Dreams Pictures'
office, Phyno opens up to Onos O about his journey in
the music industry, life on tour, personal style,
forthcoming projects and so much more.
Before you were "Phyno", you were Chibuzor
Nelson Azubuike. What was growing up like for
you?
I won't tell you that life was rosy and all that but it was
actually fun. I grew up in Enugu. I did all my schooling
in Enugu and graduated from IMT (Institute of
Management and Technology, Enugu) with a degree in
Public Administration. The only thing close to ever
using my degree was my Industrial Training and I did it
in a studio.
Where does your Rap moniker, 'Phyno' come
from?
'Phyno' is my high school nickname. It was given to me
by my close friends and it comes from the word,
'phenomenal'.
How long have you been in the Nigerian music
industry?
E don tay oh! (laughs). I've been producing for quite a
while, since 2003 but as an artiste, it has been since
2010.
How has the journey to stardom been for you?
Between 2003 and 2007, I was actually one of the
biggest producers in the east, you can ask anybody.
But, I'm the type of person that doesn't stay
comfortable in a spot for too long; I always like to step
my game up. So, towards the end of 2007, I moved to
Lagos and started 'the hustle' afresh. After working
with some people and moving my stuff around, by
2010, I felt I was ripe enough to start making my own
stuff.
Who inspired you to start rapping, after you had
been producing for so many years?
I've always known I could rap but one of the people
who had always been on my neck to record my own
music was Timaya, from the first moment I started
working with him. I would also say that Mr. Raw and M.I
have a huge part to play as well. Those are the three
major people that convinced me to start recording my
own stuff, after hearing me freestyle in the studio.
With the amount of buzz you have now, some
influential critics said that you have stolen the
throne of Indigenous Igbo Rap from Mr. Raw.
How do you feel about that?
God forbid (laughs). Mr. Raw is my 'father' and I think I
do a different kind of Rap music from him. People say
I'm hard but I know I have my commercial potential as
well. The only thing I have in common with 'Raw is that
we speak Igbo and we rap, but if you really listen deep,
we don't do the same kind of Rap music. The flows that
'Raw uses to attack beats will start cracking you up
immediately while I, on the other hand, take my flows
very serious. I hate it when people say that because
'Raw, even up till today, is somebody that I always look
up to.
Since your single "Ghost Mode" featuring
Olamide blew you up on the music scene in
western Nigeria, rumours have arisen that you
two are working on a collaboration mixtape or
album. Can you confirm or deny them?
Initially, we were planning to work on a collaboration
mixtape together. But, when I dropped my follow-up
single, "Man Of The Year" (Obago) and Olamide
dropped "Durosoke", the demand for our individual
albums got so high that we decided to change our
directions. We're still working together though. I just
recorded something with him for his album that sounds
even madder than "Ghost Mode". I know we are still
going to work on the project but we just have to satisfy
the fans first.
What's your relationship like with Illbliss and
Clarence Peters?
They are more like family to me. I have a very strong
affiliation with them, not really contract-based but we
have an understanding. With regards to management,
the same company that manages Illbliss, Chidinma,
Ayoola and Clarence Peters – the Goretti Company –
manages me but my label is Sputnet Records. Then
again, I run my own company, Penthauze
Entertainment which is also the stable of artists like
Runtown. So, that's how everything goes but as for our
relationship, it's just an understanding. We all know
where everybody has to put in something so that's how
it works for us.
Having been in the industry since 2003 as a
producer, what songs would you regard as some
of your biggest hits?
I think one of the biggest hits I've produced has to be
my own song, "Ghost Mode", because since 2003, I've
been hustling and I've made big songs in the east.
Since I came out, I've produced for almost everybody
that came out from the east – Bracket, Flavour, J
Martins, Mr. Raw, 2Shotz and Ruggedman, just to name
a few, but those singles only reached a certain level.
Another song I did that became a hit was "Life
Anagaga" by Timaya featuring M.I.
it's obvious that ladies love
Phyno. Are you single?
I'm single and available.
Are you enjoying the single life or are you
looking for 'Mrs. Right'?
I'm still young.
Do you have any celebrity crushes?
Genevieve of life! Genevieve Nnaji, the real Genevieve
(laughs).
On the recently concluded nationwide tour with
Star Music – 'The Trek' – you were billed to
perform at a lot of their stops. What is life on
tour like?
It was crazy. Apart from Agege, most of the venues that
I performed at, I could actually perform ten songs back-
to-back and my fans would sing along with me. I
actually really enjoyed that tour very much.
Will you be on the road again anytime soon?
Yes, I will. We're doing the Hennessy artistry now and
I'll be doing my South African tour by October. There
are a couple of tours lined up already but with all of
this, I still find time to squeeze in my own work
because I really need to complete my album this year.
Marketers are calling so I just really have to.
What's your debut album going to be called?
No Guts, No Glory.
Are there any artistes we should be expecting
you to collaborate with anytime soon?
Yeah! I'm working on stuff with Ice Prince Zamani but
the other big collabos are under wraps right now. I
don't want to give away some of the surprises on my
album.
Back to the tour, it's common knowledge that a
lot of artistes get a lot of love – approached by
fans and 'groupies' – most especially when they
are on the road. How do you handle the girls who
come to knock on your hotel room door?
It depends on the kind of artiste you are talking about.
Yes, we do get a lot of love but forget about anything
you see, I'm a loner. I like my privacy. So, if we enter a
city during a tour, as an artiste, I stay on my own to
prepare yourself for the show, that is, unless of course I
have a friend to show me the town with or I want to
play catch up with. Apart from that, with any other
person, whatever happens is their business oh!
(laughs) That's exactly how I see it because, as for me,
my best friend is my headphones. Most times, I'm
either working on new music or studying it so I can
blow my fans away. Everybody has their own motives
though.
For a Hip-Hop act, you have one of the most
eccentric fashion styles in the industry. How do
you keep us guessing what you'll do next? Do
you have a stylist?
Yes, I have a stylist but most of the stuff that you've
seen me rock, I did it myself. Fashion is something that
I know I have passion for. Sometimes, I look at things
and think how I would have done them differently. So,
instead of using someone else to do the experiment, I
use myself. One good thing about it is that if you really
want to achieve some things in styling, don't care
about what anybody says. Do it once and you'll see
that everybody will start doing it, even if it feels wrong.
From astronaut suits to flaunting a tattoo-covered
chest, you've tried out a lot of different fashion.
Are there any fashion items that you would never
be caught dead in?
Hmm… (Long pause) The type of styling I do, I can
almost wear anything but you can never catch me
wearing a g-string, I'm sorry (laughs).I had to really
think about it and I know that I'm the type of person
that can come out wearing female clothes to achieve
what I want but as for a g-string, no way.
Who are your style icons?
I love Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. I love Fred
Durst from Limp Bizkit – that's if he really wants to
dress up though because sometimes, he can wear just
a vest and shorts. There are just some stuff I pick but
these are the three people. One thing I love about
Kanye is his colour combinations. He really knows how
to do it very well. Then, I love Janelle Monae's styling as
well. She comes up with something very different and
you know that she had to think before she comes up
with her outfits.
How did you come up with your signature
Mohawk hairdo?
I actually wanted to look different. I didn't want to look
regular. It was also inspired and 'forced on me' by
Clarence Peters. After I showed him a video of popular
American drummer, Travis Barker and told him that I
could pull it off; when we were about to shoot the
"Anam Achikwanu" video, he insisted that I do it. So,
that was exactly how it came up.
Critics have insisted that most of the tattoos we
see in your music videos are not real. Confirm or
deny.
They should find out for themselves.
With your iconic hairstyle, you've been compared
to a cartoon or a superhero. If you were to be a
superhero, who would you be?
Superman na, Superman definitely. I also like this guy,
Venom, although he's not a superhero, from the
Spiderman 3 movie. That's one person whose
character I really like but Superman is number one.
What's the next music video we should be
expecting from you?
"Man Of The Year" (Obago) just dropped but I want to
shoot my "Kush Music". People are saying that my
tempo has been very very slow and I know that "Kush
Music" is actually extra slow; but there's something
about the song. When I went to Enugu to shoot the
"Man Of The Year" (Obago) video, I actually realized
that it's one of the biggest songs in the whole East. In
fact, when we started the video shoot, my fans from
the street where I actually grew up thought we came to
shoot "Kush Music" and not "Man Of The
Year" (Obago). They were actually disappointed when
we they heard "Man Of The Year" on the speakers so I
can't let them down. I'll be shooting in Lagos though.

Beverly Osu – I was shocked when I came out of the house and learnt that we had s*x.

In an interview with Nonye Ben-Nwankwo, Big
Brother Africa Housemate, Beverly Osu explained
her relationship with Angelo, the South African
housemate. When asked how come it was Angelo
she fell in love with in the house, she said,
"I had so many options to choose from in the
house but I wasn't attracted to any of them. But for
some reasons I still do not understand, I fell in love
with Angelo. I got attracted to him from the first
day I saw him. For now, I will see where the
relationship will take us."
How come you had sex with Angelo in the house?
"Angelo and I never had sex.I didn't have sex in
the house. I never had sex in the house. We didn't
have sex. It was not an option for us. I don't know
where the people outside got the story from. I was
shocked when I came out of the house and learnt
that we had sex. I cannot take my bath with a
swimming suit. We all take our bath naked. I
shouldn't be singled out because I went for a
reality show. I am not different"
What of all the other intimate things you did with
Angelo? Didn't you mind that the whole world was
watching?
"Whatever I was doing with Angelo, I didn't even
think I was on TV. It was just the two of us. We
didn't plan anything, we were just happy. No
matter how people will look at it, I don't regret
anything I did with Angelo. I didn't bring out the
video and said everybody should look at me. Big
Brother brought out the video.
Don't you think you embarrassed Nigeria in the
house?
"I was in the house to represent Nigeria. Of all the
people that went for the audition, I was chosen. If
anybody feels he can do better, he should go and
get BBA form next year and apply and get in the
house. I know I represented Nigeria very well"

Omotola Jalade – With A Backside That Would Make Many Men Drool,I’d Boss Boys Around

The Queen of Nollywood, Omotola Jalade In a
recent interview she granted a UK-based
newspaper, Telegraph, the star actress stated that
she had two younger brothers and that rubbed off
on her making her a tomboy and she used to
scare boys when she was much younger.
Omosexy said her mother used to make jokes that
she would not find a husband, ironically she met
her husband when she was 16 years old.
She said, "I have two younger brothers and was a
tomboy, fiercely independent. I used to scare boys
from a very young age. They found me too much,
because I knew what I wanted and I'd boss them
around. In those days my mother would joke that I
would never find a husband."

Iyanya, Yvonne Nelson And I? Mere Publicity Stunt –Tonto Dike

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dike on a television talk
show, Rubbing Minds' responded to Iyanya, in her
reaction to the singer's statement on same show
that he would rather marry Genevieve, date
Yvonne Nelson and dust Tonto Dike off.The
actress said she wasn't bothered about what
Iyanya said. According to her, she hardly knew
Iyanya and only loved him as a fan.
"It is surprising when I tell people that I don't really
know him. I have met him just once or twice, and I
don't know him. Although I admire his work, I like
him and love him as a fan. I don't know him
personally.
"I don't come out to defend myself; I think people
just take advantage of that. I think it was a
publicity stunt actually. I did not enjoy it, why
would I enjoy the publicity? It is not like I am
enjoying it. I saw him last in London when I fell on
the stage. My hosting his event in London was all
part of the publicity, they just keyed in. It was
money; it was work," she said.

Sean Kingston Sued For Alleged Gang rape

Sean Kingston and his bodyguard gang rápéd a drunk
teenager in the singer's hotel room back in 2010,
according to a new lawsuit -- but Sean says it's B.S.
Carissa Capeloto -- now 22 -- claims she was forced to
have séx with Sean, his bodyguard and a member of
Sean's band at a Seattle hotel in July, 2010, after she
had smoked pot and downed 7-10 shots of vodka.
Capeloto -- who has sued all 3 men -- alleges she'd
been invited to Kingston's hotel room for a meet-and-
greet following a Bieber concert -- where Kingston had
also performed -- but when she showed up ... Kingston
was waiting naked on his bed.
Capeloto claims the bodyguard picked her up and
placed her on top of Kingston, and all three of the men
proceeded to gang rápé her while she was "obviously
intoxicated, incapable of consent."
Capeloto says her friend later entered the room and
rescued her. The police were called and Capeloto was
taken to the hospital where she says she was treated
for physical injuries consistent with rape.
She says her life has been ruined ... she can barely
sleep, has mood swings and panic attacks. Capeloto
wants $5 mil minimum.
BTW ... criminal charges against Kingston were
dropped in 2010 after cops concluded Capeloto wasn't
credible enough for a legit case.
Kingston has filed legal docs insisting the séx was
100% consensual.
Trial is set for November.

'Frank Edoho and I Shouldn't Have Married' -Edoho's Ex

'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' host Frank Edoho
is still legally married to estranged wife,
Katherine, who told NET last week that the pair
should never have become husband and wife.
Katherine Obiang, who has three kids for the TV
host spoke to our correspondent in a compelling
interview how the 7-year old marriage should
never have been and how the couple should have
rather stayed friends. Excerpts:
Let us into your background.
I'm Cameroonian. My dad is from Cameroun, my mom
is from the Efik tribe in Nigeria, but somehow, we have
been living there and here. My mom was a Head of
Department in a tertiary institution, it was natural that
we lived in Nigeria. I have no sister but brothers as
siblings and even my aunt had only boys as kids, so I
grew up among boys. I had different influences. We
travelled a lot and to an extent, the experience helped
shape who I am and how I see things. It was generally
an OK childhood.
How did you start your journey in Nigerian
media?
It was during my one-year internship. I was working
with the account section of a radio station and one day,
the programme manager called me and asked me to
read something for him, after which he asked if I had
thought of doing something on radio. I gasped but
because I am always up for a challenge, I said yes
when he asked if I was interested. I used to script
everything I said so I can sound interesting and
gradually, I grew into it.
And how are your kids taking the whole divorce
issue?
We are not really divorced. It's still a work-in-progress
kind of thing but we are taking it well. When its time for
him to see the children, he does and when its time to
return them, he does. On my part, I have carried the
children along and make them understand they are not
stained because of it. I wouldn't want them to develop
a complex because of it. We didn't design for these
things to happen but they do. Its like people who have
lost their parents, they didn't plan for it but they have to
move on. I watch them and I think they are doing pretty
okay especially because we talk about it every time
there is a reason to.
You mentioned that you aren't really divorced.
Does that suggest possibility of reconciliation?
No, it doesn't. We just started the process but there
isn't any hope for reconciliation. We know we would
always be in each other's lives because of the children,
so we have to be civil. When the children are getting
married for example, we have to hide our differences
and make it work.

Ekeinde the queen of Nollywood. The movie superstar

Sunday night.
Now she's comparing her stunt with Beyonce's
Superbowl performance.

that with the hastag #fact.

"YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS IN MUSIC" J MARTINS TO WIZKID

J Martins on Hot FM 98.3 Abuja gave his humble opinion
on Wizkid calling a fan broke:
"I'm not taking any side, don't mean no beef, no
disrespect, and no hate but let the truth be told. I don't
believe because you feel you have a few change you
didn't have a few years ago and which you cannot
guarantee having in a few years to come then you
wake up and look at those people who have cheered
you up, loved you, supported your music, bought your
CD's, prayed for you, just because you can lay your
hands on some phone and you call them 'poor'. Am not
in and will never be in support of anyone who has such
bad attitude.
"It needs to be corrected, we owe our fans the duty of
being good examples that's why they hold us in high
esteem, that's why you are a role model and if you
know you cannot be a good role model you have no
business in Music. You don't know if it's that person that
might help you tomorrow, whoever does that should be
checked. You have to decide why you are in the music
industry. If you know you cannot be a role model then
you have no business being there"

Miley Cyrus gets provocative on the MTV VMA stage

Former Disney star Miley Cyrus shocked fans with her
performance at the MTV VMAs last night. The 20 year
old pop star and actress was joined by Robin Thicke
on stage to perform his hit track, Blurred Lines and
Miley wasted no time stripping down to a tiny gold
bikini and gave a very raunchy performance...a
performance a lot people felt was too much for a
family-friendly show.

"There's power between my legs" singer Maheed Tweets

Thought this lady had given her life to Christ? For those
who don't know her, Maheeda, real name Caroline
Sam, became an orphan at age 13 and with no one to
help her turned to prostitution. But she later gave her
life to Christ (according to her) and turned to music.
In an interview with The Sun early this year Maheed talked about her
struggles to quit
prostitution and turning to God for help
"...Even after getting married I still have this urge of
going out to meet a man. But I felt it should not be
so. I'm trying to let people know there is a spirit
behind prostitution, if not, why after getting married, I
have everything, I live in Lekki, I'm driving a very big
car and my husband gives me whatever I want, so
why would I still feel like going into prostitution?
There is a spirit behind it. I continued prostitution
even after getting married. The only thing that
changed me was being born again and being
delivered."
Has she been undelivered? Now she's talking about
sleeping with random men.

ALBUM REVIEW: Sound Sultan – Me,My Mouth & Eye

Artiste – Sound Sultan
Album – Me, My Mouth & Eye
Features – Wizkid, Duncan Mighty, Flavour, Baba
Dee, YoungGreyC, Blackha, Karma, Reminisce,
Sean Tizzle, Wyclef Jean, 2Face & Ikechukwu
Producers – Legendury Beats, TY Mix, Mic Tunes,
Jay Sleek, Jiff, Kuk Beats, Sound Sultan, Mic Workx,
Kid Konnect, O.G.B & L.K.E
Running Time – 01:18:16
Label – Naija Ninja Records (2013)
This musician is popularly known for his signature
song 'Mathematics', the conscious nature of his
music, and a music career that spans six different
eras (i.e. 6 studio albums). Veteran afro-pop star
Naija Ninja 'Sound Sultan' has lifted the lid off
his sixth LP (titled "Me, My Mouth & Eye") under
his Naija Ninja Records imprint. Sultan tackles
issues of politics, love, and destiny on his new
lengthy record (20 tracks including 2 bonus tracks)
.
Hoping to seal the commercial success of the LP
and gain acceptance from the new generation of
listeners, the Sultan opens the LP by employing a
feeble addition from Wizkid and the production
of the hotly sought-after Legendury Beatz with
the party track 'Kokoshe'. The fast paced 'One in
a Million' cannot be overlooked, its high points is
when Sound Sultan sings the chorus and
modulates it for the second time. Another party
track on the album that's of note is one of the
project's lead singles; talking about the dancehall
inspired 'Gud Gal' produced by Jay Sleek.
Regardless of the fact that the party starter about
a good girl falling for a bad boy did not enjoy a
long stay on dance-floors and charts (due to poor
promotion); it is one of the album firm points,
Fasasi rides in on the thumping beats like a true
ragga star.
The major problem with this album is the
arrangement; unnecessary remixes and track
listing. After the second track which is the stellar
'Natural Something', the remix to 'Luv
Language' featuring Duncan Mighty comes up
and the original song is listed as the eight track
the same thing close re-occurs with 'Kuru
Komaga' whose remix features indigenous rapper
Reminisce. Furthermore the award-winning and
battered remix of 'Orobo' which featured Flavour
should have been kept off this project entirely, but
sadly it lies in the first 15 minutes of "Me, My
Mouth & Eye".
Fellow Ninjas, YoungGreyC, Blackha & Karma
surface on 'Lagbo Lagbo' and bonus track
'Gbedu'. On the latter YoungGreyC (popularly
referred to as the pink ninja, and is responsible for
all the mind-blowing background on the album
tracks) steals the show with her opening intro and
solid chorus proving she is undeniably the label's
best kept secret. Blackcha & Karma also rise up
to the occasion, altogether serving a steamy club
anthem unlike like the former which comes off as
a bit noisy and extremely lacking chemistry.
Matters of the heart are addressed on the poppy
number 'One' (bonus track) which features 2face,
'Like Mi' and 'Follow Me Go' follow in the same
vein and notably so when he recruits former Ninja
Sean Tizzle to help him hit the nail on 'Follow
Me Go'. On the Kid Konnect simple afro-pop mid-
tempo beat, Lanre and Sean rock together
blending the art of rapping and singing about a girl
they went to follow them to delivering a moody
romantic number.
The mood is not always festive as the Baba Dee
assisted political yet groovy 'Temporary Turn
Permanent', 'All Way Na Way', 'Africa', 'Still I
Rise' and 'People Bad' which features Wyclef
Jean, Ikechukwu and 2face respectively, not-
forgetting 'The Piano' are housed in the album.
Preaching the gospel of fighting for your own
bread coupled with a celebratory chorus, drums,
strings and timbres , 'All Way Na Way' hits the
bull's eye whereas 'Still I Rise' comfortably floats
in-between greatness and failure. 'The Piano' is
driven by a piano officially closing album on a
spiritual note as Sound Sultan acknowledges and
is thankful the presence of a supreme being in his
life and career over rolling drums, singing "You
can have this as your ringtone/ Or as your
favourite song/ You can call me the piano/ But he
is the one really that plays the song/ Cause he is
my inspiration/ Beyond imagination/ I thank him
every season…".
"Me, My Mouth & Eye" is what the career doctor
prescribed; definitely the project will not break
new grounds for the sultan of sound, it might even
be regarded as a little dated for 2013's radio, still
it showcases the signature style of Sound Sultan
and will help him introduce his music to a young
generation. Judging from the couple of records we
have consumed from the host, this particular one
extensively highlights and showcases the vocal
abilities of Olanrewaju Fasasi.

Kanye West appears on the Kris Jenner show

Kris Jenner's show 'Kris' is a miss in ratings. Since its
debut in July, the show has been averaging about
202,000 viewers nationwide, according to Nielsen,
which is really low compared to other talk shows. Ellen
for instance averages more than 2 million viewers
every day. Anyway, Kanye has come to her rescue by
making an appearance on her show. An interview a lot
of people would want to watch
From Us Weekly
A source confirms to Us Weekly that Kanye West has
taped an appearance on Kris, where he talked about
his relationship with Jenner's daughter Kim
Kardashian and their 2-month-old baby girl, North.
West, 36, taped his special interview with Jenner, 57,
in Culver City, Calif. on Monday, Aug. 19. The insider
tells Us the rapper is "really bringing it" for the
interview and opens up about the baby, living with
Kris Jenner, his relationship with the press and love
for Kardashian.
West even joked that he's been "so in love" with Kim,
whom he began dating in April 2012, that he thought
about "playing sports." (Kardashian, 32, was
previously married to NBA player Kris Humphries and
dated NFL player Reggie Bush.)
Kanye's appearance will air on Friday August 23.
