track, and in some cases it works perfectly, others
not so much. This new track, Raise Your Glasses
by Dbanj for Hennessy Artistry 2013 comes off as
average. It's not abysmal, but it's certainly not
memorable. You'll listen to it, enjoy it, and go to
the next track.
The beat by De-Vee is solid, and the overall tune is
decent but the lyrics unfortunately are pretty
weak. It almost makes the song lack direction and
leaves us with no signature Dbanj lyric to take
home.
I never shy away from speaking the truth and this
is certainly not Dbanj's best work by any
standards. It works for the occasion but outside
that, it wont go down in memory as Dbanj's
memorable songs.
